Heritage Christian Services and Flower City Habitat for Humanity co-sponsored a speaker series to learn about a Catholic group's journey across the U.S.
Nuns on a Bus is a mission organizers say looks at faith and action. Last year, they traveled on the bus to speak out against the house Republican budget. This year's journey was in support of the comprehensive immigration reform.
The group tours the country by bus to get people to take action.
"We had been working for two and a half years to draw attention to what was happening to people in poverty, and it was impossible to get anybody to pay attention, so we said well, we'll go on the road!" exclaimed Sister Simone Campbell.
