ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Bills quarterback EJ Manuel was being evaluated Friday after he was hurt during Thursday night's loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Some players are not too happy with what happened on the field after he was injured.
According to offensive lineman Eric Wood, Browns safety T.J. Ward yelled at Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso, "I told you to warn him that we were going to get him."
Wood said Ward wasn't the only player to celebrate Manuel's injury.
"I hope our defense never acts like that when they injure an opposing quarterback because you got to show some class in that situation and there's a few guys over there that obviously didn't," Wood said.
Bills tight end Scott Chandler said while the hit was clean, it's not acceptable to celebrate injuries and taking players out of the game.
"That's not the way you're supposed to play and act in the NFL," Chandler said. "We're supposed to conduct ourselves as professionals and that wasn't a classy thing."
The Bills lost 37-24, falling to 2-3 on the season.
