Wayne County dedicated its 29th mural on Sunday as part of a history preservation project using community art.
Two pieces painted by local artist Clara Billings Yeomans in the 1800's were restored and made into a mural for the Walworth Post Office.
They picture the first herd of Holstein cattle brought to the area in 1879.
"We had them here for display but we're a small museum, not very many people get here, so we figured if we put them on the side of our post office lots of people will see them and maybe some of them will come see us her," said Gene Bavis, Walworth Town Historian.
There was a donation ceremony and reception held at the Walworth Historical Society.
Professor of Art at Cazenovia College, Corky Gross, created the mural. The paintings were donated by the Yeomans family.
