Four people have been indicted by a Monroe County Grand Jury on second degree murder charges, all in separate cases:
Anthony Morgan, 22, is charged in the death of 14-month-old Ramon Rodriquez in August of 2008. Morgan is accused of throwing the baby against a hard surface, fracturing his skull. Rodriquez died several days later. Morgan is currently being held in the Orleans County Correctional Facility on unrelated robbery charges.
Maurice Faison, 23, was indicted in connection to the death of his 9-month-old son Tristan Faison. Rochester police say Tristan died of blunt force trauma to the head. Faison was watching his son when the baby's mother found him unresponsive in his crib last month.
Daniel Williams Junior, 17, was formally charged for his apparent role in the August 24th shooting death of Walter Smith, 28, in Rochester. Police say Smith was sitting in the front seat of a car on Elba Street when Williams allegedly walked up and shot him.
Victor Crawford, 34, was indicted for his alleged role in the September first death of Aston Spalding, 25, outside a restaurant on Genesee Street in Rochester. Police say Crawford shot Spalding while he was talking with friends.
All four men will be arraigned later this month.
