Police in Webster are investigating yet another home burglary where the residents were asleep inside.
Police say the burglary happened at a home on Shadystone Circle between 10 p.m. Tuesday night and 6:15 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators say the suspects gained entrance through an unlocked window.
Police say this incident is very similar to a string of burglaries last week in the Mill Creek Meadows neighborhood. Police said in that case, one or more persons attempted to enter six homes between 2 and 6 a.m. Screens were either cut or removed to gain entry to five of the homes through first floor windows that were unlocked.
In all of the cases, electronics and cash was stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
