An adapted version of the Academy Award-winning film "Ghost" is in Rochester this week.
"Ghost the Musical" runs through Sunday at the Auditorium Theatre in Rochester.
"I think it's a great adaptation of the movie into the musical. I think there's something for everyone in this show. The scenes of Oda Mae, the Whoopi Goldberg character, are hilarious. You laugh and then it's such a touching love story," said actress Katie Postotnik.
"You get to pull off some pretty amazing magic tricks in front of the live audience. Things like people escaping their bodies, their souls moving on to the next world, and the iconic Sam passing through the door. I won't tell you how it happens, but I will tell you it does happen," said actor Steven Grant Douglas.
The musical has been nominated for three Tony Awards. The movie version was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Film back in 1990.
