The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is looking for two young men in connection with vandalism at Emery Park in Stafford.
Following a series of incidents, the park installed surveillance cameras. Town Supervisor Bob Clement says they were up less than a month before they were destroyed. He says it looked like the cameras were shot with a small caliber type gun.
The cameras did however capture footage of two men entering the park Oct. 4 and destroying the cameras.
Clement says vandalism in the park is becoming a more serious problem.
"The old building out in front, nobody ever did anything with that. That was not a very pretty structure. It was old so nobody ever bothered with it, so we put this up and practically since day one someone's been trying to vandalize it," Clement said.
According to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, the two suspects are male, in their teens or 20s.
Anyone with information about the vandalism should contact the sheriff's office.
