"I had some questions and concerns with some homeowner issues," said Ed Baron, Rochester.
Baron has been waiting a long time to talk to a person.
"They don't have any problem sending out letters and notices but when you try to speak to them on the phone, you can't get to them," Baron said.
Governor Cuomo has asked the State Department of Financial Services to put up mobile command centers throughout the state to help those facing foreclosure.
"We have these primary contacts at the mortgage servicers and the banks and we're able to reach up to a higher point of contact," said Michael Romano, NYS Department of Financial Services.
The financial representatives mapped out the options available to each resident.
The mobile unit will make its last stop in the Rochester area on Friday.
Baron says he left the unit feeling relieved after months of worry.
"They took some information from me. They're going to reach out to these organizations and get some answers for me," said Baron.
Department representatives will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at the Target in Greece at 600 Greece Ridge Center Drive.
