A Webster man already under arrest accused of bilking over $125,000 from another person's bank account faces additional charges.
Joseph Muller, 53, a former accountant, was originally arrested last month after State Police said they uncovered a scheme in which Muller was printing checks on his personal computer and making them payable to himself.
State Police levied additional charges against Muller Friday.
Troopers say the charges are in relation to six more victims.
Investigators say Muller used the same check printing scheme to steal nearly $40,000 from six individual bank accounts.
Muller faces multiple additional felony charges including grand larceny, attempted grand larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
State Police said in 2011, Muller pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal to three counts of tax evasion and sentenced to three years probation.
Muller remains in the Monroe County Jail on $50,000 bail.
State Police ask anyone who had dealings with Muller to report any suspicious activity to investigators.
