Testimony resumes Tuesday in Ontario County in the murder trial of Rose Chase.
She's accused of killing her husband Adam Chase, dismembering his body and then burning his remains.
The prosecution says it will rest no later than Wednesday. The defense team will begin calling witnesses after that.
Adam Chase was reported missing from his home in Stanley in June of last year following an argument. Ontario County sheriff's investigators believed he was staying somewhere in Canandaigua and treated his disappearance as a missing persons case.
New information came along in December that sent investigators back to the Chase home, and also to a property owned by Rose Chase's mother in Yates County.
Shortly after that time, investigators charged Rose Chase with second degree murder.
If convicted, Chase faces 25 years to life in prison.
