In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in Rochester, the Ibero-American Action League hosted "Latino Art Link" on Wednesday.
The event celebrates Latino art and history through artwork from local students and live music.
One main exhibit included photos of Latino families in Rochester taken in the early 1980s.
"It's wonderful. I'm really happy I did it. I think still that women need to be honored still for making things and keeping crafts alive," said photographer Marilyn Anderson.
The photography was part of a documentary project funded in part by grants from the New York and national Foundation for the Arts.
