A local organization with a global reach held a fundraiser Saturday to support projects meant to improve the quality of life for individuals in developing countries.
The third annual fundraiser celebrated those who work to enrich the lives of those less fortunate in developing countries.
Organizers say the money raised helps go toward one of the groups sixteen projects.
"One woman quit her job and now works in an orphanage in Africa full time, we have built maybe 70 houses now in Nicaragua, but it could be small like school kids decided to do something to give back to the world and raise money for Malaria nets in Africa," said Rick French, Journeys of Solutions Board Member.
Money was raised through a silent auction of local and international art, jewelry, and crafts.
