Police in Rochester are still searching for the person who robbed a South Wedge neighborhood cell phone store at gunpoint.
The Boost Mobile Store on South Avenue was robbed around 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said the robber pistol whipped the 18-year-old clerk before leaving with an unknown amount of cash from the register.
Marcus Williams, the owner of the store, says the incident won't deter him or his customers.
"We're not going to go anywhere. We're not going to let this deter us and we're going to do our best to work to get situations like these to be brought to light and do something about it with the community," Williams said.
The clerk suffered minor injuries.
