An annual bowling party that benefits the Spina Bifida Association of Greater Rochester was held Sunday afternoon at Clover Lanes.
The party was put on to raise awareness and bring members of the organization together. Members of the Spina Bifida Association are typically people who have this developmental disorder of the spine.
"Events like this will give them a chance to meet kids like them, to tell them they're not alone, which is huge for these kids because you're a younger kid in school with this disability that you don't know what to do with," said Gerard Pritchard, Rochester Spina Bifida Association.
Funds from the Bowling party on Sunday will go toward Spina Bifida research and informational, fun events.
