A team of Holy Childhood students and staff took on players from the Rochester Amerks on Tuesday.
Holy Childhood and the Amerks have a standing relationship of meet and greets, games, and beginning last year, a floor hockey game. The Amerks lost last year and they were looking for a rematch.
Agency organizers say it's a way for students to meet players from their favorite sports team.
"They love it because they go to games, they participate in different recreation activities, so this is a chance for them to see their stars in real life and in person," said Katelyn Balconi, Holy Childhood.
"It's fun for us too getting to play a little floor hockey with them and seeing the smile on their faces make us happy," said Amerks defenseman Nick Crawford.
Both Holy Childhood and the Rochester Amerks says there are more events on the horizon.
