A pair of teenagers face murder charges in connection with a September homicide in Rochester.
The two teens were arraigned Thursday morning before Rochester City Court Judge Melchor Castro.
Martin Jones, 17; and Isaiah Rollins, 15, are charged with second degree murder in the death of Curt Vallentin.
Police say sometime between September 29 and 30, the two teens beat Vallentin, 52, inside 20 Orlando Street using their fists, a chair, stick and bottle, causing Vallentin's death.
Police say both Jones and Rollins admitted in a video recorded interview to beating the victim.
"The dude that died shot something at my brother, a glass, and then my brother hit him for doing that, then the other dude just took over and started beating the man to death. Then whatever, they cleaned it up, I don't know. But my brother didn't do it. He told me he didn't and my brother not going to lie to me," said Kahdujah Terry, Isaiah Rollins' sister.
Jones and Rollins are being held without bail in the Monroe County Jail. They'll be back in court Oct. 29.
