The case of a Seneca County man accused of killing his son got some national attention last night.
The Karl Karlsen case was the spotlight of ABC's 20/20.
Karlsen is accused of causing a pickup truck to fall off a jack in 2008, crushing his son, Levi Karlsen to death. Karlsen also faces fraud charges.
Prosecutors say he filed a will for his son the day before his death, naming himself as sole beneficiary. It included custody of Levi's two children and a $700,000 life insurance policy taken out only a few weeks earlier.
His daughter was on the show.
"'My father is a sociopath, the only one that matters to him is him. We were just pawns in his game," said Erin Karlsen.
Karlsen's trial is set to begin next week.
