Pirate eyepatches and peg-legs were not out of the ordinary in an event to raise money for the Pirate Toy Fund Saturday.
The 2013 Buccaneers' Ball seemed to bring out a little pirate in everyone.
The Pirate Toy Fund is a non-profit organization that donates new toys year-round to in-need children in the Rochester community.
With casino-style gaming, grazing stations and live music, funds were raised to help support the Fund and the children it serves.
"We buy toys for children in need," said Gary Smith, Pirate Toy Fund. "We gave away over 30,000 toys last year. And, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger, so the need is greater and this just helps us get our mission out.
The Pirate Toy Fund has given out more than a quarter of a million toys since 2000.
