We now know the name of the gunman who opened fire at Los Angeles International Airport, killing a TSA agent and injuring others.
Police say Paul Ciancia, 23, took an assault rifle out of bag, shot his way past TSA screeners, and began shooting into the airport itself around 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Officials say a TSA agent was killed. Two others were wounded.
Police and paramedics immediately surrounded a security gate. Police say Ciancia later exchanged fire with airport police before being taken into custody.
Airport staff evacuated travelers and flights. The FAA stopped flights headed to LAX. A bomb unit was also called to the scene.
