Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack has officially opened its new expansion. The $12 million addition holds a restaurant, bar, and 350 new machines.
The new restaurant, Wolfgang Puck Express, is the first location for the brand in New York State outside of New York City.
The casino now has an 18-foot projection screen in the bar area where guests can watch sports.
Through the construction of the facility, 80 jobs were created.
"We're currently bringing about two million visitors onto the property now annually. Total on property between racing and gaming, 1,800 employees that directly make their living on the property, so it's going to add about 80 new jobs currently," said Chris Riegle, president and general manager, FLGRT.
This expansion is the largest addition to the facility since 2004 when gaming was added.
