A couple married for 20 years spends an evening with a younger couple. This leads to drinks, harsh words, and a vicious breakdown of all their facades.

“Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf” explores a love gone astray. Four actors command the stage. This Edward Albee classic is considered a masterpiece of the 20th century.

“Virginia Woolf was known for her philosophy that we have to learn how to live our lives without illusion,” said Director Michael Arve. “This play is about games the married couple has been playing for 23 years.”

“Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf” runs this weekend. It is presented by the Greater Rochester Repertory companies at the Multi-use Community Cultural Center (MuCCC) on Atlantic Avenue.
