The web garden nearly done for the season

The web garden nearly done for the season

Well, the web garden is almost done for the season but we still have some crops that need to be harvested. The cherry tomatoes, cayenne and habanero peppers and carrots all are going strong and we'll harvest the fruits from those plants within the next couple of weeks.

We tried to grow several different varieties of fruits and vegetables in our garden, some were successful, and some were not. Our attempts at growing regular tomatoes, squash and watermelon were disappointing.

Although we did get a couple of tomatoes, they never really took off.

The watermelon came to fruit late in the year and unfortunately withered on the vine.

The squash flowered but there was no fruit throughout the summer. Maybe we'll try some different plants next year.

We at YNN hope that you had as much fun following along on the web as we did tending our garden. It was an experience to be sure and one that was plenty of fun. See you next year for Web Garden II.
