WESTERN NEW YORK -- The race for the 27th Congressional District seat continues to be a tight one.

A Siena College Poll commissioned by the Buffalo News and WGRZ and shows incumbent Kathy Hochul and her republican challenger Chris Collins in another statistical dead heat.

Collins is leading Hochul by just one point, 48 to 47 %. But the poll has a 3.9% percent margin of error, which means the two candidates are in virtual tie. Five percent of voters polled in the 27th district say they are either undecided or not voting.

The poll numbers haven't changed much over the past month. The last Siena Poll had
each candidate getting 47% of the vote, and 6% of voters undecided.
