FINGER LAKES -- The Finger Lakes New York Region of the American Red Cross has opened four shelters in Wayne and Monroe County in response to the power outages throughout the area. There is one shelter in Monroe County at the Webster Recreation Center, and there are three located in Wayne County.

In addition, the Red Cross is collaborating with the fire departments of Williamson, Wolcott, Ontario, and Savannah, to distribute water and other supplies to homes without power.
