History captured in photographs is on display at the Rochester Institute of Technology
A photo exhibit titled, 9/11: The First 36 Hours, showcases images taken by RIT alumni.
Photographer Aristide Economopoulos says it’s important we recognize the significance of what happened on September 11, 2001.
"The story of 9/11 was not about the towers or anything like that. It was the story about the people, the lives lost and the sacrifices made," said Economopoulos.
The exhibit will be on display in the common areas of the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences and the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences until October 17th.
