A 10-year-old Haitian orphan we first told you about last month, is now in Rochester on what's called, humanitarian parole.
The Pittsford family that sponsored Denilson Julio while he was living in an orphanage in Port au Prince, picked him up at a Miami airport Monday.
The Fauchets say they're working with local attorneys to complete the adoption.
Melanie Fauchets let YNN capture Denilson's first trip to Wegmans.
Adjusting to America after living through an unimaginable tragedy will be difficult, but there are a few things Denilson says he's really looking forward to.
"Go to school, play basketball, play football. Help my mom," Denilson said.
Denilson is the 12th child in the Fauchet brood.
Some of the children are biological, others adopted from countries around the world.
