Tough guy Steve MacIntyre is back in the National Hockey League. The Florida Panthers recalled MacIntyre from Rochester.

MacIntyre has played just two games for the Amerks since being picked up on waivers from Edmonton November 10th. Panthers coach Peter DeBoer says MacIntyre will make sure no one takes liberties with any of his players.

Rochester, with 14 wins in its last 15 AHL games, is home Friday to play Wilkes-Barre. If you intend to go, team management suggest you purchase tickets in advance. Last Friday produced the season's largest crowd, and waiting in ticket lines approached an hour.
