Braves Hold Off Wings Comeback
The Rochester Red Wings bats were shut down by the arms of the Gwinnett pitching staff in a 6-3 loss Tuesday night. A lead off single in the seventh inning by Brian Dinkelman that deflected off the pitcher was the first hit record by the Wings of the game.
Gwinnett’s Chris Resop threw five hitless innings walking two and striking out six Rochester batters. Matt Macri had a three-run home run for the Wings in the ninth.
The Braves take the first game of the four game set. Same teams face off Wednesday night with the first pitch at 7:05
