Gavin Hall will play in a PGA Tournament
Gavin Hall is just 15 years old, but already plays golf like a professional. Now Hall will get a chance to see how he fares against the pros.
The sophomore to be at Pittsford Mendon High School accepted a sponsor’s exemption to play in the PGA Tour's Turning Stone Resort Championship. The tournament begins next week in Verona, just outside of Syracuse.
Hall won a U.S. Amateur qualifier on Monday to earn entry into the U.S. Amateur which takes place August 26-29 in University Place, Washington.
Two weeks ago Hall won the RDGA’s John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial Championship by 18 strokes over the best golfers in the Rochester area.
