The Rochester Red Wings led 5-1 into the ninth inning before Pawtucket rallied with five runs to win 6-5. That marks the fifth straight loss for Rochester.

Matt Macri helped stake the Red Wings to the lead. He hit his ninth homer of the season in the fifth inning and added an rbi triple in the seventh.

Josh Reddick got Pawtucket back into it by hitting a three-run homer off Anthony Slama. The tying run scored on a wild pitch from Alex Burnett. Then, Jarrod Saltalamacchia brought home what turned out to be the game winning run with a double.

The same two teams play again Saturday night.
