ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Current Buffalo Bills safety and Penn State Alumnus Bryan Scott is remembering Coach Joe Paterno from his college years as a Nittany Lion at the University.
He says the coach was more like family to him, and always reminded him to think of his education beyond football.
"A lot of his morals, values, the fundamentals that he coached and teached, I'll carry on with me the rest of my life," said Scott.
Under Paterno's 46-year leadership, the Nittany Lions won two national championships, went undefeated five times and finished in the Top 25 national rankings 35 times.
