As Olympic trials continue, another athlete from Western New York is trying a different route to the London games.
Asia Henry is competing to represent Jamaica at the London Games.
The Rochester product will hit the track Sunday in the 800 meter sprint, with a chance to represent the Jamaicans in either the Olympics or the Under 23 championships.
Henry holds UB's record in the 800 - both indoors and outdoors; and also set the Section V records at Wilson Magnet High School.
"I'm nervous, not going to lie. It's the craziest thing, "said Henry. "If someone would have told me two months ago or even a year ago 'you'll be going to Jamaica for Olympic trials I would have bet any amount of money that you're absolutely lying, but it's a blessing. I'm just thankful for this opportunity, Coach Jenkins pushing me, my teammates. I'm just blessed, I'm just excited - nervous but excited."
