Training Camp Blog: Stevie Johnson injury update
It's a combination of words that no Bills fan wants to hear: Stevie Johnson and injury. But we're in a similar position to last season, as the star wide receiver is nursing some groin trouble. The good news for Bills fans is that it is not the same groin that he had surgically repaired this offseason. (This is the right one)
As far as the severity, you never know for sure with groins. But Johnson says it's no big deal, just a "minor setback," and that he feels fine. The injury did not effect him during the early part of today, as he took part in the team's daily walk through. He's uncertain how limited he could be in full practices.
"I feel good, just a little tightness in my right groin, but for the most part it's nothing serious like last camp," Johnson said following the walk through. "We'll go inside to the training room and reevaluate, and go from there. I'm not sure if I'll be out there this afternoon."
Additionally, Johnson says part of the injury trouble is a result of compensating for his left groin, which ailed him for much of last season.
