Hall to Play in Junior Ryder Cup
Having recently had his golf career delayed by a wrist injury, Gavin Hall returned to competitive play this summer and won his third New York State Junior Amateur last week.
This September he'll add another accolade to his impressive resume.
The Pittsford Mendon senior has been named to take part in the 2012 Junior Ryder Cup matches, an event featuring boys and girls teams from the United States and Europe.
The two-day competition consists of team and singles matches and will be played September 24-25th at Olympia Fields Country Club outside of Chicago. Additionally, every player will play nine holes at Medinah Country Club, site of this year’s Ryder Cup matches.
September is a busy month for Hall. Prior to the Junior Ryder, he'll play in Junior Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass and the travel overseas for the Duke of York Champions Trophy at Royal Troon in Scotland.
