It's football time in Orchard Park. Bills players reported to the team facility on Monday morning to begin their first week of the 2012 regular season.
"The atmosphere will be a lot different," said Fred Jackson. "Guys will know the importance of things. Missed assignments won't be taken as lightly as they were in training camp and the preseason. Now's not the time for that. Guys will be on guys letting them know that they've got to get that right before we step on the field Sunday."
The squad hit the field to begin installing their game plan for Sunday's opener against the Jets. In accordance with the regular season schedule, the Bills will have off on Tuesday. Media day is set for Wednesday, followed by practices on Thursday and Friday. After offseason conditioning, OTAs, training camp and preseason games - players are just ready to get things going.
"It's a long week," noted Kyle Williams. "But it's a good week because we're ready to get started. I'm sure the intensity will get going a little bit today and we'll be focused on the Jets."
