Bills place Nelson on IR, sign RB White
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills placed WR David Nelson on Injured Reserve Tuesday.
Nelson tore his ACL during Sunday's 48-28 loss to the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
The Bills filled his roster spot with RB Johnny White. He is re-joining the team after being released last month. White played 12 games with the Bills last season.. picking up 38 rushing yards on 12 carries.
The team is also without RB Fred Jackson, who suffered a sprained ligament during the season opener. He is expected to miss the next 3 to 8 weeks.
