The UB Bulls open MAC play Wednesday night with a nationally televised game against Kent State. The Bulls come in at 1-1, after a good showing against Georgia and a dominating effort against Morgan State. Through two games, Brandon Oliver is 12th in the nation with 238 rushing yards, and Alex Neutz is 63rd with over 200 receiving yards. They're two of the Bulls keys as they face Kent State.
"Those are our playmaking guys," said head coach Jeff Quinn. "They have their guys and we have our guys. The good thing is that it's going to come down to the trenches.
"I really like where Alex Neutz and Alex Zordich are. They're on the same page, but we have to be able to distribute the ball to our other guys."
"We respect our opponent, but we fear no one," added defensive lineman Steven Means. "That's something that coach has put into our heads, and it's something that I look very highly at."
