When the Bills started this West Coast trip, the idea of a 3-3 record would have been a thrill to the majority of fans. So all that counts that they got the win.
Still, there will be talk about Chan Gailey's decision in the 4th quarter, up 3, Brad Smith throws out of the wild cat, and Patrick Peterson making the interception in the end zone.
That interception set up Jay Feeley. A 61-yard field goal, which he made for a career long that also tied the game. He missed a chance to win it a few minutes later.
In overtime, Jairus Byrd gave Bills fans a happy ending, he read John Skelton's eyes and made the interception. Gailey elected to trust the defense instead of trying for a 53 yard field goal, and it worked.
Rian Lindell hit the short winner to cap off a wild one in Arizona.
Believe it or not the Bills are back atop the AFC East. All teams in the division are now 3-3.
Buffalo has a good opportunity in front of them with a home game Sunday against Tennessee.
