Seeking complete game in New England

By: Andy Young

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Bills continue getting ready for a trip to Foxboro, Mass. at the end of the week and another go around with the Patriots. With a win and the Bills will trail the Pats by just a game in the AFC East.

It won't be easy, however. The Patriots have the top overall offense in the league -- a unit that racked up 45 second half points beating the Bills in Orchard Park in September. Both the Bills offense and defense need be ready to play a full game if the team hopes to come out a winner on Sunday.

"Their offense is going to score points, we know that," said quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. "Consistently they have performed at that level and they are going to put up a lot of points, so we have to make sure that we stay within ourselves."

"Last game that we played them we had a 14 point lead and that is obviously not enough going against a guy like Tom Brady," added linebacker Kelvin Sheppard. "We spoke on that in a defensive meetings to keep the foot on the gas pedal, although no matter if we are up by 21 or 35 to keep the mindset that the game is still close."
