Next year, Oak Hill Country Club will play host to the 95th PGA Championship, but earlier that summer, the best in women's professional golf will once again visit Rochester.

Locust Hill Country Club will once again host the Wegmans LPGA Championship in 2013. The LPGA and tournament officials made the announcement on Tuesday, ending months speculation about the future of the tournament.

Negotiations were finalized last month when a one year deal was reached.

As for the tournament's future after next year, tournament organizers say there were never any discussions beyond 2013.

Locust Hill has been a regular tour stop since 1977, and since 2010 has played host to the LPGA Championship. Shanshan Feng is the defending champion.

"The focus of the world will be back here twice in six weeks, within six weeks of each other, so that's exciting," said Linda Hampton, tournament director. "The platform that both tours bring to Finger Lakes and Rochester area is huge and exciting and I know the guys have the best men on tour here and we have the best women so for a community event and a happening and for coveted major championships, it's huge."
