The Rochester Americans were out west Saturday night taking on the Abbotsford Heat, but lost three to one.

Rochester managed just 18 shots on goal as the Heat earned a split of the two game weekend series.

David Leggio made 28 saves and Nick Tarnasky scored his sixth goal of the season. Heat forward Ben Street was their leading scorer with two goals.

Rochester is back at home Wednesday, January 9th to host the Syracuse Crunch at the Blue Cross Arena.
