Hall of Fame baseball manager Earl Weaver passed away Saturday morning.

Weaver managed two seasons with the Rochester Red wings before moving on to the Baltimore Orioles.

Once there, Weaver won more than 1,400 games as manager of the Orioles for 17 seasons.

He took the team to the world series four times, winning one title.

The CEO and President of the Red Wings says Weaver's one-of-a-kind personality helped push players to be great.

"He was an amazing motivator, tough manager, but truly able to get the guys to do their absolute best and they appreciated it," said Naomi Silver.

Earl Weaver was 82 years old.
