Rhinos to Partner With New England Revolution
On Wednesday, Major League Soccer and the United Soccer League PRO division announced a multi-year partnership meant to foster development of professional players in North America.
The agreement includes interleague play between USL PRO and MLS Reserve League teams, and the establishment of several exclusive team affiliations.
The Rochester Rhinos will affiliate with the New England Revolution, with the MLS team loaning players to Rochester.
MLS teams that don't partner with USL teams will field reserve clubs that will play a schedule with some games against USL PRO squads.
The 2013 Rhinos schedule will include a pair of games against Montreal's reserve team.
