The RIT men have lost just once in their last five games. Except for a tough outing on Saturday against Niagara, junior Josh Watson has been solid in goal.

Watson watched as Shane Madalora got hot last season, and this year, claimed the starting netminder spot for himself.

"I think it was for everyone just to kind of find themselves. I can say that basically we came in and we had a lot of new people, a big new roster that we had to fill a lot of holes," Watson said. "We started off kind of rough and we had to get used to each other and I think we're starting to come around now. I play a little different than Shane did last year and with the new D playing different than what the D played the previous year, so it's kind of a learning process and we got to know each others likes and dislikes."

The Tigers play host to Atlantic Hockey Association rival Connecticut on Friday and Saturday. Both games will be carried live at 7 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel.
