It goes so fast. The Bills are now down to their final day of training camp. The team will wrap things up with an afternoon practice on Wednesday. They held their final night practice on Tuesday.
Bills greats Jim Kelly and Ruben Brown were on hand for the Bills final night workout of the summer.
With things about to wrap up here at St. John Fisher, Bills head coach Doug Marrone was quick to point out that the work is not close to being done.
"Everyone is going to talk about breaking camp and that we are leaving camp and you know, really, we don't want that from our players and I've told them that to. You know, we are going to continue to get better and we're still a work in progress and we are not where we need to be as far as the first week of the season," Marrone said.
Wide receivers Stevie Johnson and TJ Graham were full participants in practice. Both missed time due to injury and both are looking forward to returning to the playing field this Saturday in Washington.
"Looking at the previous games and seeing how the team has been playing offensively and defensively, it looks fun and I want to be a part of it so I'm looking forward to playing this game," Johnson said.
"We get to go out there and play and we get to go full speed against someone besides your teammates and try to get ready for the season, it's a good thing to get out there and play in the preseason and get our feet and get our timing with the quarterbacks," said Graham.
One last afternoon workout, and then the Bills break camp Wednesday evening.
