Bills 2013 training camp is in the books. The Bills wrapped it up with an afternoon session on Wednesday.
The Bills' first training camp under Doug Marrone is in the books for the Bills. Things shift back to the teams facility in Orchard Park now.
There was a different feel this year, with fun being one of the big words being thrown around this summer. Veterans and rookies alike were working hard but having a good time under new head coach Doug Marrone and the new coaching staff.
"Those guys tell us to have fun but they expect us to come out here and work as well. If we're out here and we're not accomplishing what we need to, they'll be the first to let us know about it," said running back Fred Jackson.
Set to join the fun when the team gets back to One Bills Drive is safety Jarius Byrd who, just signed his franchise tender and after missing all the work at St John Fisher is set to join the team
"I’m sure he was in communication with some of his teammates and I think that that helps. The transition when he comes back in and knowing what we’re trying to accomplish. He’s trying to accomplish the same things as we are as a team. He knows our goal is to try and get back to the playoffs," said Marrone.
The preseason rolls on and the Bills play the Redskins on Saturday.
