Here we go again, the Bills are getting set to play the underdog role - on the road - for the second straight week, against a team coming off their bye week.
It's the toughest of circumstances, but it worked out pretty well for Thad Lewis and the Bills last week - when they outlasted the Dolphins in a highly entertaining game in South Beach. Now, it's the Drew Brees attack that Mario Williams and the Bills defense are preparing for. Meanwhile, Lewis has to go up against a revamped Saints D - led by Rob Ryan that ranks in the top third of the league.
"Just a defense that takes on multiple looks," Lewis said. "Pretty much the same coverage just with different guys. As long as you know what’s going on and know where guys are at, we will be fine."
"Going back on the road again, playing another team coming off a bye, our players know those circumstances and I think it’s important," head coach Doug Marrone said. "We’re going to go down there and try to win a game. People look back at a season and see those types of games where a team made their move. As far as us, we just keep trying to keep our focus on the next game and going out and winning it."
