*The 'Drum Corps Associates World Championships' with more than 30 of the best drum and bugle corps from the U.S., Canada and Europe are here in Rochester with preliminaries at 2 p.m. Saturday and the finals at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Marina Auto Stadium, 460 Oak St. For details and tickets, call (888) 300-6910, or click on the link below.
*New York State Festival of Balloons comes to the Dansville Municipal Airport this Friday through Monday, Labor Day. Balloon launches are 6 p.m. Friday, 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. Monday. All weather permitting! $5 admission. 11 and under free. Rt. 36 maple Street, Dansville, N.Y. (585) 335-2076.
*Rochester Labor Day Parade at 11 a.m. Monday, Labor Day in downtown Rochester. parade begins at East Ave. and Alexander St. then onto Mains St. to Plymouth Ave.
