- It's German Festival time in Spencerport at Firemen's Field on South Union St. in Spencerport, 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 12 noon to 5 p.m. Great German food and music! Admission $6, $3 Sunday.
- The Finger Lakes Riesling Festival and Rotary Club Pier Festival make Canandaigua the place to be this weekend! Both events have free admission. Shuttle bus service from CMAC.
- Carifest 2011 is a great celebration of Caribbean dance, music and food from 1pm-10pm Saturday. Parade begins at 11 a.m. at Liberty Pole Way and proceeds west along Main St. ending at the Riverside Festival Site at Court and Exchange. Admission: $15, $10 seniors and ages 6-12. Free to 5 and under.
- Hamlin Firemen's Carnival Saturday and Sunday, 1503 Lake Rd., Hamlin. Free admission. Pay one price for rides.
- Brockport Summer Arts Festival this Saturday and Sunday at the Sweden-Clarkson Recreation Center, 4927 Lake Rd. South.
- Avon Rotary Corn Festival is sweet! Head to the village of Avon this Saturday for arts and crafts and a lot of fresh sweet corn! Skycoasters perform at 7:30 p.m.
