If you want a good dose of culture and art, head to the Cornell Campus in Ithaca, New York and to the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art. The building alone is a work of art holding a permanent collection of over 35,000 works of art from Africa, Asia, Europe and North and South America.

The new 'Visible Storage Gallery' showcases more than 1000 works of ancient art that you wouldn't normally see at a museum. Now you can! Also, be sure to see the new Japanese Garden on the northwest side of the new wing.

Museum admission...FREE! Hours 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. (607) 255-6464
